6th May - Day one: Beaumaris Anglesey

We will meet at the Bull Hotel in Anglesey, on the coast overlooking the mountains of North Wales, right on the coast it is a great place to start our adventure.

7th May - Day two: Anglesey to Dunmore East - 220kms
Today, after a leisurely breakfast we head to the Holyhead Port to catch the boat to Ireland. Anglesey is famous for its fishing, lobster and clams and if we get time we should indulge in some welsh seafood. Once we arrive in Dublin we head down to the Hook Peninsular for coffee and cake where we can take another ferry across the estuary to Dunmore East, a delightful and fashionable watering place, situated in a valley, with a gentle slope towards the sea.

8th May - Day three: Dunmore East to Castletownshend - 260kms
After breakfast we’re back on it and head along the coast to Midleton where there is a very famous and rare Whiskey distillery, just check out the prices of Midleton Rare Whiskey. We pick up the route for the Wild Atlantic Way which takes us to Kinsale and Castletownshend where our castle awaits us for tonight.

9th May - Day four: Castletownshend to Bantry - 140kms
We wake this morning Lords and Ladies of the Manor ready to take on the world from our castle. Once on the bikes we head towards the most south westerly point in Ireland, Mizen Head. At the end of the peninsular, the cliffs rise high above the Atlantic Ocean as currents from the west and south meet the swells of the Mid-Atlantic. Tonight we can chill by the pool or just kick back in this quality hotel.

10th May - Day five: Bantry to Kenmare - 185kms
A gentle get up as we head over the Healy Pass to Adrigole and past the Mining Museum as we head to Kenmare for two nights.

11th May - Day six: Kenmare to Ring of Kerry to Kenmare - 195kms
One of the most famous points of Southern Ireland, the Ring of Kerry. Sheltered bays with blue waters and deserted white sands as we ride along the Beara Peninsula in Cork. On to Waterville where one Charlie Chaplin had connections with the town, so much they even erected a state in his memory. We head for the hills and cross Molls Gap back to Kenmare.

12th May - Day seven: Kenmare to Dingle - 210kms
Today its a day of small passes, coastal roads and legends as we stop at Annascaul which was the home to Antarctic Explorer and friend to Ernest Shackleton, Tom Crean. The Conor Pass will then take us to Dingle where we stay for the evening.

13th May - Day eight: Dingle to Kilkenny and the Vee - 245kms
This morning we head back east to Kilkenny, few buildings in Ireland can boast a longer history of continuous occupation than Kilkenny Castle. Founded soon after the Norman conquest of Ireland, the Castle has been rebuilt, extended and adapted to suit changing circumstances and uses over a period of 800 years.

14th May - Day nine: Kilkenny to Dublin and home
After breakfast we head to the beaches where they filmed Saving Private Ryan and then catch the ferry back home to the uk.
