​We are after ten riders to come with us on this exclusive ride to this enchanting and spiritual part of the world, Nepal.

​
The motorcycle adventure from Kathmandu to Pattale and Chitwan is a perfect blend of cultural immersion, and wildlife exploration. Riding through diverse terrains on a Royal Enfield Himalayan motorcycle adds to the authenticity of the experience, making it a once-in-a-lifetime journey for motorcycle enthusiasts and adventure seekers alike.

We begin our adventure and our team of local guides and fixers will take you to some of the most spiritual locations on earth. With the chants of the Buddhist monks and mountain monasteries, this spiritual adventure will give you an experience like no other, all from the saddle of your bike.

The journey begins in the bustling city of Kathmandu, where the aroma of incense mingles with the vibrant sounds of the city. The Royal Enfield Himalayan motorcycles roar to life, and riders set out on a journey that promises not only breathtaking views but also cultural encounters along the way.
 
Gorkha, with its historic Gorkha Durbar, provides a cultural detour. The medieval palace and the surrounding area echo with the tales of bravery and valor associated with the Gorkha soldiers.

Nuwakot, with its ancient fortress, adds a touch of history to the ride. The majestic views from the hilltop fort provide a serene backdrop to the journey.

Tatopani, known for its hot springs, offers a rejuvenating break for the riders. The natural thermal baths are a perfect way to unwind and recharge before hitting the road again.

Lamjura Pass, with its challenging twists and turns, takes the riders through dense rhododendron forests and offers breathtaking views of the Himalayan landscape.

2nd November - Leave the UK for Nepal

3rd November, day one - arrive in Kathmandu: 

Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu we will be on hand and ready to transfer you to the hotel in the centre of the city. Today is yours, you may just want to relax at the hotel, tonight we meet for dinner.

4th November, day two - day off Kathmandu: 
A briefing will follow the leisurely breakfast and in the afternoon we will go for a sightseeing tour of Patan Durbar Square which features temples, monuments, and palaces, each with distinct designs. The area is also known for its Thanka painters and fine metal shops selling handmade brass sculptures of Buddha. Then we drive to Swayambhunath, also known as the "Monkey Temple". This is one of the oldest and most significant religious sites in Nepal. The temple complex is adorned with intricate architecture, statues, prayer wheels, and colorful flags, reflecting the rich heritage.

5th November, day three - Kathmandu to Tatopani: (120kms):
Depart from Kathmandu and ride the Araniko Highway towards the Last Resort. Enjoy the scenic journey as you pass through lush valleys, terraced fields, and small villages. Arrive at the Last Resort, a beautiful riverside resort located in the Bhotekoshi River Gorge. Settle in and relax amidst the natural surroundings. Indulge in a delicious lunch at the resort's restaurant, offering a variety of local and international cuisines. After lunch, take the opportunity to explore Tatopani, a nearby village known for its natural hot springs. You can relax in the soothing hot waters and rejuvenate yourself. If time permits, you can also venture further towards the Tibet Border, experiencing the borderland atmosphere and enjoying the scenic views. (1220m)

6th November, day four - Tatopani to Shivalaya: (160kms) 
We head out of Tatopani and continue a ride towards Shivalaya. The road winds through picturesque landscapes, passing through verdant hills and charming villages. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to stop at Jiri, a small town renowned as the starting point of the classic Everest Base Camp trek. Enjoy a delightful lunch and explore the local market. Resume the ride and proceed towards Shivalaya, a serene village known for its tranquility and natural beauty. Arrive at Shivalaya to a basic family run tea house, a historic homestay nestled in the heart of the village where many Everest climbers have stayed before us. (1700m)
 
7th November, day five - Shivalaya to Phaplu: (82kms) 
* This section is optional as the route can be challenging following heavy monsoon*

Begin the day with an early start, traditional breakfast before we embark on a ride from Shivalaya to Phaplu. We have a plenty of jeep support today as the ride can be challenging. The ride ascends gradually, taking you through lush forests of rhododendron and oak trees. Reaching the majestic Lamjura Pass, situated at an altitude of 3700 meters. Take in the breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys (Weather permitted). Continue the ride, descending towards Phaplu, a picturesque town in the Solu Khumbu region. Arrive at Phaplu and check into your accommodation which is a lovely family run tea house. (2530m)


8th November, day six - Phaplu to Pattale: (20kms) 
Embark on a bike journey from Phaplu to Patale Bazaar that offers a picturesque adventure through the captivating landscapes of this region. Begin your expedition by setting out from Phaplu in the morning, heading towards Patale Bazar, relishing the scenic beauty along the way. Upon reaching at Pattale, we will immerse in local markets, interact with locals, and savour the local cuisine. 
A 30 min hike will take you to the Pattale village where you can see the mesmerizing panoramic views of mountains like Makalu, Mera peak I, Mera Peak II, Mera Peak III , Chamlang, Kanchenjunga, Everest, Lhotse, Numbur, Kariyalung, Tauche, Thamserku. (Weather permitted) (2800m)

9th November, day seven - Pattale to Mulkot: (220kms) 
Enjoy a morning sunrise at Pattale village overlooking the mountain range (Weather permitted). Then after breakfast we will continue our bike ride towards Mulkot. Mulkot is a small marketplace of markets, hotels, and restaurants beside the soaring sun koshi river. If you wish to, you can take a walk or relax by the pool at the hotel. (514m)

10th November, day eight - Mulkot to Chitwan: (300kms) 
Embark on your adventure by starting your journey from Mulkot, steering your bike southeastward along the picturesque Siddhartha Highway. Revel in the breathtaking landscapes that unfold as you weave through charming towns and villages en route. Your destination for the first leg is Hetauda, a significant industrial city in Nepal. Then we will continue our bike ride towards Narayangarh, the entry point to Chitwan. As you draw near to Narayangarh, the landscape transforms, signaling your arrival in the alluring Chitwan District. Finally, reach the enchanting destination of Chitwan, where you can conclude your day's ride.  Be ready to explore the wildlife-rich wonders that await in this captivating region. Tonight we stay near the jungle, watch out for the wandering One Horned Rhino often seen in the streets. (415m)

11th November, day nine - Chitwan day off:
Begin your day with a wake-up call and savour a cup of hot tea or coffee. Following breakfast, prepare for a full day of exhilarating jungle adventures in Chitwan. These activities include a scenic canoe ride, a guided nature walk, a visit to the Elephant Breeding Centre, an exciting Jeep Safari, and an enchanting Tharu Cultural show.  

12th November, day ten - Chitwan to Gorkha: (100kms) 
In the early morning, we will go for a village walk tour. Then after lunch we will start our ride (for around 4-5 hours) to a village called Gorkha. Upon reaching Gorkha, explore the historic significance of Gorkha Durbar, which served as the birthplace of Prithvi Narayan Shah, the founder of modern Nepal. The palace's architecture reflects a blend of Hindu and Buddhist influences, showcasing the cultural diversity of the area. While at Gorkha Durbar, it's also an opportune time to delve into the history of the Gurkha soldiers, who have earned a fearsome reputation as one of the most formidable and loyal military forces in the world. (488m)

13th November, day eleven - Gorkha to Nuwakot: (140kms) 
Commence your ride from Gorkha, navigating through the scenic landscapes and following the twists and turns of the winding roads. Marvel at the rural beauty, passing through quaint villages and verdant hills along the way. Your path takes you toward Nuwakot, renowned for its ancient fortress that stands proudly atop a hill. As you approach Nuwakot, the surroundings echo with historical significance, offering glimpses into the rich cultural heritage of the region. Arriving at Nuwakot, and immerse yourself in the charm of this historically significant town. Explore the centuries-old Nuwakot Durbar Square and experience the blend of history and natural beauty that makes Nuwakot a unique and captivating destination. (1022m)

14th November, day twelve - Nuwakot to Kathmandu: (50kms) 
Embark on the final leg of your journey from the historical town of Nuwakot as you make your way towards the bustling capital city of Kathmandu. Commence your ride, leaving behind the picturesque landscapes of Nuwakot, and begin the descent towards the Kathmandu Valley. The road unfolds before you, winding through hills and villages, offering glimpses of the diverse Nepalese countryside. As you approach Kathmandu, the scenery transforms, and the vibrant energy of the city becomes palpable. Navigate through the bustling streets and arrive at the heart of Kathmandu, where ancient temples, vibrant markets, and a rich cultural tapestry await. Tonight we return to the Nepali Gear Hotel.

15th November, day thirteen - Kathmandu day off: 
Today the day is free to relax. Here you can opt for a sightseeing tour, shopping or relax on own. In the evening we will immerse ourselves in the flavours of Nepal with a delectable dinner at an authentic Nepalese restaurant. This three-hour experience promises not only a feast for your taste buds but also a cultural journey into the heart of Nepal. Delight in the richness of Nepalese cuisine while being captivated by the enchanting music and dances from diverse ethnic groups, all showcased on a single mesmerizing stage.

16th November, day fourteen - Say goodbye to our Nepalese friends: 
We will arrange to meet you approximately 3 hours before you takeoff and take you to the airport.

  • Any alcohol consumed during the course of the tour by either guide or participant.
  • Any accident damage caused to a participant's motorcycle while on tour. All accident damage costs must be paid by the participant.
  • Tourist Visa's and permits.
  • Expenses incurred that are not listed as part of the itinerary.
  • Any airplane flights. 
  • Medical treatment or evacuation of a participant either as a result of being on tour or not as a result of being on tour. 
  • Medical or evacuation insurance.
  • Cost of transferring deposit money/tour payments.
